From grocery deliveries and RTA fines to last-minute salon bookings and Amazon packages at your door, this city runs on efficiency, and these are the apps that do the heavy lifting in 2025.

1. RTA Dubai

The RTA app is your all-in-one hub for Dubai’s transport ecosystem. Pay Salik, top up your Nol card, buy parking tickets, check bus/metro schedules, renew your car registration, and settle fines, all without needing to stand in a queue or print a single form.

2. Careem

Careem is king here, but in 2025, it’s expanded far beyond taxis. Use it to book a ride, send a parcel, rent a car, or grab a bike, you can even use DineOut for exclusive dining offers.

3. S’hail

Think of S’hail as your local version of Citymapper. It shows real-time public transport options such as metro, bus, taxi, tram, even ferries, all in one clean interface. It often outperforms Google Maps for accuracy inside Dubai.

4. Talabat, Deliveroo, Careem Food

Talabat has the volume, Deliveroo has the premium restaurants, and Careem Food is stepping up with better loyalty offers and delivery speed. If you’re hungry and indecisive, having all three on your phone is the move.

5. Noon & Noon Minutes

Noon is the Amazon of the Middle East, as they have massive inventory, great deals, and quick delivery. But Noon Minutes takes it a step further as it delivers everyday essentials (groceries, phone chargers, toothpaste, snacks, etc.) in 15 minutes, straight to your door. It’s the kind of app you didn’t know you needed until you run out of coffee pods at 9 am.

6. Amazon.ae

Amazon is well established, offering everything from fashion and tech to household basics. With Amazon Prime, you get next-day delivery, video streaming, and deals across thousands of products. In 2025, it’s reliable, fast, and constantly improving its same-day options.
