Lakes is ideally placed for the city, yet provides a tranquil retreat with its parks, waterways and landscaped greenery. The development is particularly popular with families and professionals seeking a secure gated community with first-class facilities.
Lakes comprises of six neighbourhoods; Deema, Furat, Ghadeer, Maeen Rayaan, Zulal and Hattan. The community has been less-densely planned than many other Dubai developments, allowing generous plot sizes and spacious properties. The detached townhouses and villas range in size from 2,100 to approximately 7,544 square feet, typically offering 2-7 bedrooms.
As the name suggests, the community offers several lakes as well as numerous communal spaces with barbeque areas and children’s play parks. Residents can be seen jogging around the parks, or enjoying the swimming pools, squash courts and tennis courts within the Lakes Club; a popular health club with a restaurant, daycare centre and adjacent supermarket.
There are some exceptional schools in and around the Lakes, including the Raffles International School, the Dubai International Academy and the Lakes Garden Nursery.
The Raffles International School is an international school for Kindergarten to Year 13 and follows the National Curriculum of England. The school has a deep history of offering world-class education.
Lakes Garden Nursery is located just as you enter the Lakes community. The nursery is part of the Raffles International School group and is one of the newest nurseries in Dubai.
There are a number of hospitals nearby to The Lakes, including Saudi German Hospital Dubai, American Hospital Clinics- Dubai Media City.
The American Hospital is located on the ground floor of the Business Central Towers and offers a wide range of services including Primary care, paediatrics, gynaecology, dermatology and radiology.
One of the closest malls to The Lakes is Dubai Marina Mall, just under a 5-minute drive. Everything you would ever need is under one roof in this mall. You can find a whole range of stores along with a range of restaurants, gyms and government offices.
There are a number of supermarkets serving the Lakes community, including branches of Choithrams and Spinneys as well as the Lakes Mart, a 24 hour supermarket stocking a wide range of products.
A variety of sports can be enjoyed within the Lakes Club, a popular health club. In addition to its swimming pools, squash courts and tennis courts, the club also offers a restaurant, day-care centre and adjacent supermarket.
The Lakes community sits inland from Dubai Marina and around 4km from Palm Jumeirah. Located off Interchange 5 on Sheikh Zayed Road (E11), The Lakes isn’t too far from Al Khail Road that leads to Mahommed Bin Zayed Road (E311).
The closest Metro station to The Lakes is Nakheel, which was previously called Dubai Marina station.
Driving, you can get to most of the main areas, such as Dubai Marina, The mall of The Emirates and Dubai Airport, within 40 minutes.
The Lakes community is made up of villas with 2 to 7 bedrooms. Many of the villas will have stunning views of the surrounding lakes and some villas with views of the golf course.
