Gil Van Gelder leads the high-performing residential team with a clear strategic vision and hands-on leadership approach. With over 16 years of experience in real estate, Gil is recognised for combining international perspective with deep local market expertise.
Originally from Antwerp, Belgium, and raised in Faro, Portugal, Gil began his real estate career in the Algarve, where he developed a strong foundation in residential sales. Drawn by the scale and opportunity of Dubai’s property market, he relocated to the UAE in 2012 and joined Espace Real Estate as a Client Manager.
Quickly establishing himself as a trusted specialist across Dubai’s freehold communities, Gil’s expertise and commitment saw him promoted in 2016 to lead the South Villa Sales team. In 2020, his consistent performance, leadership, and market knowledge earned him the role of Sales Director.
In his current position, Gil remains focused on setting new benchmarks, developing talent, and shaping the future of real estate sales in Dubai through innovation, integrity, and results-driven leadership.
